Woke up after a good night sleep and got ready for the day. Had breakfast at The Griddle, in Winnemucca.
Stopped for gas & ice and then on the road again. Taking Hwy 95 North to Boise. 2 lane highway, 70mph. Not much out here except hills on both sides, and mostly green shrubs and flat land.
Some of the hills have white patches at the top, could be snow. We don't know. Only wildlife we've seen is cows & crows. There is some agriculture out here, we're thinking it's hay.
We'll be on this road for almost 300 miles. Straight up. Moms driving, should be pretty easy.
We cross the corner of Oregon, which we never saw a sign to state we crossed a border. Land looks the same, maybe a bit higher elevation. Until we came across some rock formations like the Grand Canyon. Well not the same.
The terrain gets more green the closer we get to Idaho. Just outside of Jordan Valley, more rivers we've seen.
Next we made it over the border to Idaho. Next stop, Carol's cousin's house in Meridian. Population is about 87k.
Met with Fred & Carolyn & their doggie Molly. Molly's face looks like the animal in the never ending story.
